Elections or in-house change dangerous, says Nawaz

By admin on Friday, January 28, 2011 with 0 comments

PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has said that general elections in the current scenario or in-house change would be a dangerous thing.

Nawaz known for his somersaults and frequent change in his political stance abruptly tried to give the impression of a man overnight went through a change of heart and mind, as he said that the country is passing through a difficult phase and we all should take steps with wisdom.

“We are not supporting the present government, but want that it should work for masses welfare during its tenure, as in present time, elections or in-house change is a dangerous thing,” he added

Nawaz said this the other day while talking to Daily Jang. He said everybody knows that government has performed poorly as people are facing inflation, power and gas load-shedding and we are trying that the government performs better in its remaining tenure.

"We want to save the democratic system and when we follow traditions, we are accused of siding with the PPP, and media is also involved in it," he added.

The government has given 45 days deadline to implement PML-N's 10-point agenda and we don't follow the policy of buying time, he further added. Nawaz said he was not aware of US stance regarding the PML-N when he was put a question that it was not happy with him and his policies. He said we don't want to come in power through the support of the US or army.

Notwithstanding, Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif and PML-N leader Chaudhry Nisar are on record to have been visiting the army headquarter off and on, Nawaz keeps projecting himself as the only man, who could take head-on any move from Rawalpindi. Besides, there has not been a word from Nawaz Sharif on a U. S. Consulate employee shooting down to death two young men yesterday in Lahore.

Will Nawaz ever be able to achieve power with this sort of double dealing and duplicity?
