PTA denies suspension of Blackberry service
KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Dr. Yasin has denied issuing directives for barring Blackberry service to foreign missions in Pakistan, Geo News reported Monday.
Talking to Geo News, the PTA Chairman said all the relevant companies had been issued rules and regulations in connection with the provision of Blackberry service. These companies have been directed to ensure uninterrupted provision of Blackberry service to foreign delegates.
He clarified that there had been no suspension of services on part of the telecommunication companies, brushing aside media reports of interruption of Blackberry service to foreign missions.
