CAIRO: Beleaguered president of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak finally yielded to the relentless public protest and stepped down as the head of state, Geo News reported Friday.
Jubilations erupted at Tehrir Square, the epicenter of the protests that had been going in Egypt, demanding ouster of Hosni Mubarak had been ruling the country for the past 29 days.
