Justice will be done on merit, facts: CJ News

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry Saturday said the adoption of judicial policy brought improvement in the judicial system and that justice would be dispensed not on technical basis but on merit and facts.

In his address on the occasion of oath taking ceremony here at Islamabad Bar Association, the Chief Justice of Pakistan said Islamabad got an independent High Court as a result of a struggle of lawyers and its credit goes to Islamabad Bar.

He hoped that there would not be any hurdle in delivery of justice.

Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said even the existing system could become efficient if the lawyers stop getting unnecessary extensions.
