Over 100 killed in Egypt protests
CAIRO: Starting from Friday, over 100 people were killed in riots in Egypt, mostly in Cairo, Alexandria and Suez.
This was reported by a Qatari TV channel, with a reference to medical sources.
All over Egypt, the curfew has been prolonged, lasting now from 4 p. m. to 8 a. m.
On Saturday, President Hosni Mubarak dismissed the government. However, this didn’t satisfy the protesters.
Tens of thousands of people have gathered near the state TV office in Cairo’s center, demanding that Mubarak himself must resign.
