Nisar appealed not to resign from PAC chairmanship
Islamabad—Members of all the coalition political parties in the government, Friday, formally appealed to Leader of the Opposition Chaudhry Nisar Ali

Khan not to render resignation from the office of Chairman Public Accounts Committee (PAC).

MNAs from all political parties including the ruling Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q), Muttahida Qaumi

Movement (MQM), Jamiat-Ulma-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) and others declared Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan as a role model and national asset and termed his

resignation as a loss to entire country.

During course of meeting of PAC, members across the divide hailed the way Chaudhry Nisar conducting the business and proceedings of committee in

most effective manner that forced plunderers and looters to deposit more than one hundred billion rupees back in the national exchequer.

Speaking on the occasion, Nadeem Afzal Chan, Noor Alam Khan, Ghulam Mustafa Shah and Rukhsana Bangash from the ruling PPP, categorically

acknowledged great services rendered by Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan while conducting the proceedings of the House fairly, transparently and impartially.

PPP MPs pointed out that their party had never tried to erect hurdles in the smooth conduct of the proceedings of PAC. Nadeem Afzal Chan an Yasmeen

Rehman highlighted that Chaudhry Nisar had set a remarkable precedent and a role model for the coming chairmen of PAC in future.

He said that Nisar’s resignation from post of Chairman PAC would be an irreparable loss to the entire nation so Chairman should never think on those

lines. Other PPP MNAs, Rana Farooq Saeed Khan, Ghulam Mustafa Shah, Noor Alam and Rukhsana Bangash expressed that they had learnt a lot from

PAC’s proceedings, which would be helpful in his future career of parliamentarian.
